I think I was tagged so now you are too....

I don't normally do this whole tagging (aka survey that requires me to think) but since every blog I have read tonight did I might as well too.  I know "if they (Drea, Haley, Shelby, etc...) jumped off a cliff, would you?"  The answer to that is no I wouldn't but this seems harmless.

If your curiosity gets the best of you and you happen to find yourself reading this then I expect to see your answers too...it's only fair!

So here goes...

What experience has shaped you most and why?
By far...becoming a mother.  I never knew what unconditional love really was until my (rotten to the core, fit throwing, dragging everything out, leaving toys that bring you to your knees when you step on them, beautiful, and precious sometimes) daughter was born.  Everything I do now in my life is for and about her.

If you had a day with no commitments, what would you do?
Are you serious?  No commitments??  No work, no child, no cleaning, no washing clothes, no school...
Sleep really late (maybe all day), go shopping (probably by myself unless my sisters have a "no commitment" day to), turn my phone off too (because those "no commitments" would be able to reach me if I didn't), go to Barnes and Nobles for a good book and then come home to take a long hot bath while reading that good book.   AHHHHH!  What a wonderful day to dream about...now who is gonna make that happen for me??

What food or drink could you never give up?
DR PEPPER AND FUDGE ROUNDS  (yum yum)

If you could travel anywhere, where would it be and why?
Depends...would this be an adult vacation or will kids be accompany me?  Italy...adult vacation and I would love to take Wilkins and my neice and nephews to a dude ranch!  I think that would be so much fun and they would love it!!

Who do you have a crush on?
Don't laugh...Chris L from the Bachlorette!!  I am telling you if Ali doesn't pick him then I have dibs on him!!  I love him...I am sure he is too good to be true but what they are showing me on tv makes me think good guys DO EXIST!

If you were leader of your country, what would you do?
Have no desire to be leader of my country or any other country for that matter.  I manage 150 employees ranging in age from 18 to 55 and I want to pull my hair out every single minute of every single hour of every single day I am at work so WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD I WANT TO LEAD A WHOLE FREAKIN' COUNTRY???!!!  NO THANK YOU!

Give me one savory recipe that doesn't include cheese...
Italian Beef sandwiches....my mouth is watering just thinking about it...luv it!!

What did you think you were going to be when you grew up?
I don't know...I am still trying to decide what I want to be when I grow up!  LOL!!  I always thought I would be a paralegal or lawyer...never in a million years did I think that I would be a restaurant manager.  But it seems to be working out pretty good for me so far...(today was a good day).

What woman writer, dead or alive, do you admire most?
Gonna have to agree with Drea on this one...Nora Roberts is an awesome author.  Not sure that admire is a good word to describe her but she definitely knows what she is doing.  I am also a huge fan of Emily Giffin...

What character trait inspires you the most?
Genuine...so rare these days.  Enough said....

What is your favorite kind of music?
Nothing really specific...I love all music.  Widespread Panic, No Doubt, George Strait, Lauryn Hill, Pink, George Jones, etc....just to name a few.

What is one fact that most people who know you wouldn't guess?
Ok if I tell this then everyone who knows me will know...should I really answer this question???  Ok...here is a little insight...my sarcasm and hard exterior is a big cover up.  I am really a softy...only my really close family members know that!!  Don't tell!

If money were no object, what's one thing you don't own now or can't afford to do that you'd like to have or do?

I would buy my dream house...but first and foremost I don't think I would buy anything.  I would give my mom and both my sisters enough money to get out of debt and build their dream houses!!

Oh my goodness...didn't realize how long this survey was until now!!!  I am super tired...could be because my "commitments" today were a little overwhelming.  What do you think?  At work at 5am, home from 330pm-5pm with my little rugrat, and then school from 6pm-10pm....whew....

Wilkins...

My litte girl, my life...

She is getting to be so big and changing everyday...really starting to become her own little person.

Am I nuts??

Maybe a little...

My life consists of working 50-55hrs a week and a full time mommy.  What else could I possibly fit in?  Let's see...

I started school tonight which will consist of Thursday nights from 6pm-10pm for 18 months.  Then starting August 29th I start working 6 days a week on top of that (not to mention that my birthday is Sept 1st which I will be spending in Alcoa, TN with my DM and GM!  Yeaaa!!)  I will be there for 3 days that week which means 3 hours away for THREE WHOLE DAYS without seeing Wilkins (I have never went that long without seeing her....OMG).

Now my mother and sisters have talked me into making braclets and necklaces again which I tend to get totally addicted to.  I used to have tons and tons of money invested in my beads about 5 years ago and I gave them all away (which was STUPID).  So now I made my first braclet last night and ended up making 5 total.  Now everytime I go somewhere I find myself standing in front of beads and then I find myself spending $40-$50 more than what my intentions were.  UGHHHH!  That's ok though because now I am making Wilkins a braclet everytime we go somewhere that matches her outfit...IN NEED OF A BIGGER JEWELRY BOX NOW!!  LOL!!  So I guess I am going to put them on my mom's website to match the outfits she is making.  Maybe I will make a few extra $$$$....

Who cares it is kind of relaxing....here are a couple of pictures of a few I have done.  I can do any color or any size both necklaces and braclets.  Let me know if you are interested...

Something small...

....that makes me a proud mommy!

Wilkins was taking a bath playing with her toys as she always does while I was sitting downstairs.  All of the sudden I hear the pitter patter of little feet coming down the stairs...naked and dripping wet.  So I take her upstairs to officially dry her off and pick her toys up out of the bathtub...SURPRISE!!  My little two year old  girl had picked all of her toys up out of the tub and put them in the little basket.  She does listen...I always make her pick them up but I always have to tell her but today she did it all by herself....so proud!!

Don't worry Stephanie...I will blog about grandaddy's party and post some pictures in the next couple of days!  Takes so long to upload pictures but I have a couple good ones of EK and Wilkins!!

A fun day...swimming, McDonald's, and ice cream...

Today was my first day off in eight days and it was nice and relaxing...

Haley, LeAnne, and I took the kids to Carter and Edna's (Haley's in-laws) to go swimming.  They have a nice big pool with a slide and I really thought that Wilkins would be a little bit scared of it...NOT!  She stressed me out...she kept going up the steep stairs and down the slide with no help and no one to catch her.  She has no fear at all when it comes to the pool...yikes!  I, on the other hand, was completely stressed out each and every time she went up the steps...there is no hand rails on the side so I was afraid she would fall off the platform.  Then she started jumping off the side of the pool like Addy, Lucas, and Will.  I don't think she realizes that the floaties are the only things keeping her above water either so I am afraid she would just jump in without them...

After we went swimming, we headed to all kid's favorite place aka McDonald's to eat and let the kids play on the slides and stuff.  Really we were just tiring them out to make sure they took extra long naps!!!  I know...horrible, right?  Don't pretend that you don't do it if you have kids!  Of course, a hot day in the pool and McDonald's wouldn't be complete without ice cream!!  So we headed to Marble Slab...YUM YUM!!  Love me some ice cream on a hot day...unfortunately, there is so much to choose from that I just went with plain old chocolate.  It was super good and the kids had a blast.  What a fun day...

Happy 4th of July...

Well, I started my wonderful Independence Day like most everyone else did...slept in, lounged around, got in the pool, ate some lunch, and just enjoyed a wonderful day off...NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I got up at 4am to go to work and make sure all you people who slept in got your fill of eggs and bacon!!  But after I left work, my day turned out pretty good.  We did our annual thing which is go to Murfreesboro and sit around, cook hot dogs, and just spend time letting the kids run around.  We have been doing this with Patty, Billmon, and their kids for probably 5 years or more and every year we look forward to it.  We don't do anything but sit back in our chairs and talk...super fun!

I was worried that Wilkins would be scared of the fireworks but she loved it...here are some pictures:

Tantrums over clothes...already?!

Wilkins is already throwing tantrums over clothes!!  Do they really start at 2 years old?  Literally this afternoon I had put some shorts on Wilkins and then decided to put on a pair of capris that looked better with her shirt.  So I said take those shorts off and her response was "no, match".  So I started taking them off of her and she started crying and saying "match"!!  Oh my goodness!!  She doesn't even know what color she had on but she cried anyway.  This crying fit went on for at least 30 minutes and she just kept pulling on the capris and saying "match".

What is it going to be like in a year or 5 years?!  Please pray for my sanity...
